Faculty of Engineering The Faculty Engineering provides 1 Doctoral, 1 graduate, 5 undergraduate and 2 vocational education programs in Georgian and English languages.

After graduation of Aircraft Technical Exploitation” educational programs students are able to get B1.

1 or B2 technician licenses. Georgian Language educational programs are accredited/reaccredited in 2020 and English Language educational programs are authorized/reauthorized in 2021.

Georgian Aviation University

Bachelor Program:

  1. Aircraft Technical Exliloitation Status: Authorized
  2. Study duration: 4 years (240 credits)
  3. Study Language: English.
  4. Tuition Fee: 3000 Euros annually

Documents for application:

Online interview (for English knowledge assessment)

B2 English certificate (or examination at the University)

School certificate (complete, 12 years. allowing to study on bachelor degree in country that issued it)

Copy of international passport (If the applicant is under age he/she must present one of the parent’s passport and birth certificate)

Recognition of the educational document (in the national center for education quality enhancement of Georgia)

* Documents should be translated into Georgian Language and notarized.

Master Program:

  1. Aircraft Technical Exliloitation Status: Authorized
  2. Study duration: 2 years (120 credits)
  3. Study Language: English.
  4. Tuition Fee: 3000 Euros annually

What Are the Learning Outcomes of Studying Aviation Engineering in Georgia?

Educational program gives a student an opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop appropriate skills and apply them based on learning and analyzing technical components. The graduate should have following competencies:

Knowledge of basic concepts and methods of natural sciences to solve various flight objectives.

Knowledge of basic concepts of mathematics and methods of calculation to solve various flight objectives.

Basic topics of air law, recommendations, regulations, and requirements of EASA, ICAO, and GCAA.

Technical and flight exploitation of an aircraft, functional systems, and aviation engines.

Human factor and limitations (physical & psychological).

Operation principles, operation ranges, possible errors and results from expected failures of aircraft instrumentation and flight-navigation systems.

Basics of aviation meteorology, maps, analysis of actual weather and forecast.

Theory of air navigation and methods to solve navigation tasks.

Knowledge of aircraft mass and balance, flight principles, flight parameters and exploitation parameters.

Flight safety assurance issues.

Bachelor of Aircraft Technical Exploitation – 4,000 Euros / Annually.

Bachelor of Air Transport Management – 4,000 Euros / Annually

Bachelor Program: Flight Exploitation of Aircraft (Pilot) (CPL Multi engine) – A22 + Tecnam – 13 000 Euros / Annually.

Bachelor Program: Flight Exploitation of Aircraft (Pilot) (CPL Multi engine) Cessna + Tecnam – 14 250 Euros / Annually.

Vocational Program: Flight Exploitation of Aircraft (Pilot) (CPL Single Engine) – Aeroprakt A22 – 36,000 Euro full program Cessna – C 152 42,000 Euros full program

Bachelor of Aircraft Technical Exploitation – 8,000 Euros / Annually

Master of Aircraft Technical Aviation – 4,000 Euros / Annually

To get Admission at Georgian Aviation University (GAU) simply fill our Application form or send all the required documents to info@pindot.global.

List of the required documents:

  2. High School Certificate or BA degree Diploma (for MA degree applicants) along with transcript;
  3. Application fee payment receipt.

Application Status:

After submission, within the 7 working days of fulfilling the application requirements, we will send you an official offer letter from the Georgian Aviation University (GAU), Georgia. On the basis of the signed offer letter, Study-Georgia will start enrollment procedure. Translation, notarization, recognition and enrollment procedures take approximately 2 – 4 weeks.

GAU has no deadline for admission. However, the University has two intakes. Students can get admission to either join Fall Academic Session (September batch) or the Spring Academic Session (February/March batch).

As soon as the enrolment procedure will be successfully completed, GAU will send you an official invitation letter which – together with other documents – will be required for the applicant to apply for a studying VISA to the closest Georgian Embassy

Currently, Georgian Aviation University (GAU) does not have hostels on campus for foreign students. However, apartments and flats are cheap around the university’s vicinity we will help you regarding it.
